TEAM KÖMMERLING LOOKING TO BOUNCE BACK IN FRANCE

There is great will to turn things around within Team Kömmerling Gresini Moto3 Team as Gabriel Rodrigoand Jeremy Alcoba are on their way to France to change pace after the poor outcome of the Barcelona weekend. The tenth event of the season might turn into a very autumnal weekend with low temperatures expected (between 13 and 15°C at most) and a very high chance of raining.

Both Gresini Racing riders know well the French track: Rodrigo narrowly missed out on a podium finish last year there aboard his Honda machine (he was fourth), while Alcoba was twice third, once sixth and once ninth in four races contested at Le Mans in the CEV series.

GABRIEL RODRIGO #2 (8th in the championship standings with 69 points)

“We really want to make amends this weekend and Le Mans brought some good results last year. In the previous tripleheader – results aside – we were always very competitive and the feeling with the bike is excellent. If the weather will be kind to us, I’m sure we can do very well. We only need some strong results to add to the work done this year and I’m confident they will arrive.”

JEREMY ALCOBA #52 (13th in the championship standings with 46 points)

“We really want to press the reset button. This is a circuit I know well, but in the European championship things were different because lap-times were slower. This is surely a track I like and we’re eager to turn the page on the difficult race in Barcelona… We’ll have to take it step by step because as I said it will be different on the Honda, but I’m sure we can do well.”
