INDONESIAN RACING GRESINI MOTO3 TEAM READY FOR FRENCH CHALLENGE

A podium and a crash while leading the race were the two sides of the Team Indonesian Racing Gresini Moto3 in the latest outing of the season at Jerez, but now it is already time to head to Le Mans for the French Grand Prix.

Let’s start with Gabriel Rodrigo, who managed to recover from a big hit in his right foot after the huge highside of Jerez de la Frontera; he will be 100% fit or Le Mans and ready to be back near the sharp end of the field.

Jeremy Alcoba is looking for confirmation: after the unexpected last-turn podium in Andalusia, there is some continuity needed not only in qualifying but also in the race – and possibly without penalties to make things more difficult. Moto3 proceedings will get underway at 9am local time (GMT +2).

GABRIEL RODRIGO #2

“We’re eager to make amends after Jerez. We probably had the best race pace and we didn’t capitalise. We will try at Le Mans – a track I like – to keep doing a good job like we did in Spain two wees ago, as we aim at bouncing back. I took a big hit in my foot, so I rested and I’m ready to go.”

JEREMY ALCOBA #52

“Needless to say that we are looking for a repeat result at Le Mans, maybe without trying out luck too hard. We need a very solid weekend and without mistakes. I’m yet to have one this season so I’m looking forward to try and play my cards right in the race – without being penalised. Last year it was a difficult weekend in which I made a few rookie mistakes, but we’re ready for the challenge this year.”
