LOWES CHARGED UP FOR #FRENCHGP

After an up-and-down weekend at Jerez and the following, very positive post #SpanishGP test it is now time for France’s Le Mans, the venue hosting the fifth event of the 2019 Moto2 World Championship.

Sam Lowes and Team Federal Oil Gresini Moto2 will be hard at work to get up to speed on what is a very much different track compared to the Andalusian circuit – although the base set-up found with Kalex during the last tests will help them start on the right foot.

Moto2 will get underway at 10:55 local time (GMT+2) on Friday with the first free practice, while the race will follow the standard European timetable – with the start set at 12:20.

SAM LOWES #22

“Le Mans is a track I like very much even though it’s very different to Jerez. We improved a lot during the test, so we will use all the positives we found to do well in France and hopefully leave the nightmare weekend of the Spanish GP behind our backs. I would like to truly thank the team from the bottom of my heart for the hard work done during the test; now we’re ready to get to France with great motivation. Shark helmets will be the title sponsor and that’ll give me even a greater boost to succeed.”
