LOWES FINALLY ON A ROLL AS HE FINISHES 7TH IN SEPANG QUALIFYING

Sam Lowes has claimed the seventh place on the starting grid in the Malaysian Grand Prix after a Q2 session that was hard to interpret also due to the rain that appeared in the final minutes of the session. The rider of Team Federal Oil Gresini Moto2 was less than half a second from Marquez’s pole position and will start the #MalaysianGP from the most prominent spot on the third row.

With an already-competitive race pace yesterday, Lowes will tackle penultimate encounter of the year – which will start at 13:20 local time (GMT+7) tomorrow – with the question mark of the weather conditions, but all the ingredients for a great race are there.

7th– SAM LOWES #22

“Good sessions, both this morning and in the afternoon. Maybe I could have done a little bit better in Q2 as with some thousandths of a seconds less we could have been on the second row, but I’m happy with seventh. We have the pace, the feeling is good so we aim ath the top-five.”
