MOTOE: LET THE SHOW BEGINS IN LE MANS

After the winter tests, it’s time for the Team MotoE FELO Gresini Racing to get back on track for the first two rounds of the championship, that will take place in France, at the Bugatti Circuit. A new electric Ducati, a new format that includes two free practice and a qualifying session on Friday and a double race on Saturday, but the same FELO – GRESINI winning line-up.

In fact, for the fifth year in a row we will find at the box Matteo Ferrari, who proved to be fast right from the very beginning on his new Ducati V21L during the winter tests. Next to him, Alessio Finello has also been reconfirmed for the 2023 season: the Turin rider proved to be competitive during Jerez tests in rainy conditions, the same ones that could also occur this weekend in Le Mans.

MATTEO FERRARI #11

“I am very happy to start, the MotoE World Championship is finally beginning! I’m super ready, I trained really hard in this pre-season: we achieved good results already in the winter tests with the team, but I keep on training, and I also participated in the Italian championship last weekend with a good result. Now we just have to stay focused: the goal of these first two races will be the TOP3 so it will be essential to work hard on Friday in order to be immediately competitive and prepare for the weekend in the best possible way. I am confident and can’t wait to leave and get to the circuit!”

ALESSIO FINELLO #72

“We finally begins! This year the winter break was really long and I can’t wait to start the championship. I’m recharged and positive minded: in the tests I immediately felt back the positive feeling that bind me to my team and I can’t wait to start working with them again to be competitive right away. The first session will be the most important for me, especially with this new format, it will already be decisive. I’ve changed my training in the last few weeks, I’ve ridden a lot on the bike to get ready for the first round of the championship, physically but also mentally, an important aspect that will make the difference for me. Le Mans is a quite complex track and I did only few kilometers here. It will be essential to start well from the first laps in free practice on Friday and try to be fast straight away”.
