NAVARRO TO RACE THROUGH PAIN BARRIER AT #VALENCIAGP

Jorge Navarro has endured another challenging day at his home track in Cheste, which saw the Team Federal Oil Gresini Moto2 rider qualifying in 24th place for the last race of the 2017 Moto2 World Championship after logging a best lap of 1’36.165secs.
Despite dealing with the injured left hand, the young Spaniard clenched his teeth and completed almost 40 laps between FP3 and qualifying, although was unable to find the right feeling with the bike which would have helped me make up positions in the timesheets.
With the hand still affecting his on-track performance, Navarro will line up on row eight for the last race of the season, which will get underway at 12:20 local time (GMT +1).

24th – JORGE NAVARRO #9

“The hand is bothering me quite a bit especially while changing direction, but I can ride the bike. It hasn’t been an easy day because I could not find the right feeling with my motorcycle; I know where we can improve and hopefully we will make a small step forwards tomorrow. It’s true I’m 24th on the grid, but I’m only a second away from the front runners and with some consistency over the course of the race we may put together a decent race and finish the season on a high note.”
