OLI STEPS UP TO MOTOGP

The Gresini Racing MotoGP project continues to grow and now can count on another ally joining its challenge in the premier class: OLI, from 2019 a partner of Gresini in the Moto2 and Moto3 categories, has decided to embrace the biggest project of the Faenza-based squad.

Starting from 2022 OLI, for over 30 years a leading company specialised in toilette cassettes and shower-drainage systems, will be one of the official sponsors of Team Gresini Racing MotoGP and its brand will be visible on both Ducati machines #23 and #49 as well as on Enea Bastianini and Fabio Di Giannantonio’s leathers and on the team uniforms.

This partnership between OLI and GR was born and developed quickly and all bodes well for a successful future.

ANTONIO RICARDO OLIVEIRA – BOARD MEMBER OLI: It’s with great satisfaction that we are alongside Gresini in the “leap” to the MotoGP championship, the premier event of world motorcycling, after 3 years of partnership in the Moto2 and Moto3 categories. This evolution cements what we want to be as a company in an evolving and fast-growing reality, willing to compete to stand out among the best in the world. The level of visibility and engagement with the OLI brand that we leverage on MotoGP is enormous as well as the possibility that is given to us to capitalize on stakeholder experiences with the Gresini Racing MotoGP Team. This partnership is one of the vectors that allow us to amplify the international project of OLI whether by the growing strength of our subsidiaries, whether by the dynamics of export to new latitudes and the growth of strategic importers”.

CARLO MERLINI – GRESINI COMMERCIAL AND MARKETING DIRECTOR: “Growing partnerships are always a prove of achieved goals and shared values, and that is surely the case of the one between OLI and Gresini Racing. A partnership that started three years ago in the lower classes and that led to very important results such as the race win and several podium finishes clinched this year in Moto2. I think the right time for the jump to the premier class has arrived, being the natural growth for our solid partnership, and I’m happy that the same view was shared also by OLI. Therefore, I would like to thank Federica Niboli and Antonio Oliveira for their trust in our brand-new project with Ducati. The belief, more than just an hope, is that Enea and Diggia will bring OLI to the positions that belong to this partnership.”
