1st ⌚ – FILIP SALAČ #12 (1’42.323)
“I’m really happy with this result; the team did a great job. Track conditions weren’t easy as there was a lot of wind. We need to keep both feet on the ground: the race is tomorrow and the goal is to finish in the top ten. Let’s have fun!”
6th – JEREMY ALCOBA #52 (1’42.866)
“A really unexpected result; the wind was very strong in qualifying so it wasn’t easy. IN Q1 I only managed to be third-quickest, the track wasn’t fast, but I knew the pace would have been stronger in Q2. To be arriving from Q1 actually gave me an advantage as I knew how to deal with the wind. I still lack some speed, but we managed to set a good time anyway. We made a good step forward, I’m happy with the work we’ve done so far. This is my so-far best qualifying result in Moto2 and to be starting this way is surely a confidence boost for tomorrow’s race!”
