QJMOTOR GRESINI MOTO2: IT’S TIME FOR SILVERSTONE

After a long five-weeks summer break it’s time to get back on track for the Team Moto2 QJMOTOR Gresini Racing riders: this break was fundamental for Jeremy Alcoba who recharged his energies and prepared himself in the best possible way in view of the second part of the championship: his main objective will be to be fast from the very first session on the English track and bring home a good result, to give him a further boost and even more self-confidence for the following stages.

We find Filip Salač just 4 points off the top 5 in the general standings: the Czech rider, after a consistent first part of the season, where he collected points and satisfactions, is ready to restart on the right foot and make the difference at Silverstone, where the last year, as a rookie, he conquered the top9.

FILIP SALAČ #12 (6th in the standings with 72 points)

“The first part of the season went even better than expected, we managed to get better results than the target we had set ourselves, we collected many points and also a podium. I am satisfied, now we just have to continue in the same way. I’ll give my best in every single session and let’s see what we can achieve in this second part of the season: I’m definitely aiming for another podium and still collecting many points to stay in the top 5 in the world standings. There will be some pressure here at Silverstone: it’s the first race after a five-week break. I like this circuit, here last year we finished in the top 10, one of our best races of the 2022 season. I can’t wait to get on track!”

JEREMY ALCOBA #52 (16th in the standings with 23 points)

“This year we started on the right foot, we had immediately a good feeling and we managed to be fast. But then I struggled to keep the pace and be fast, especially in the last few races I struggled to stay focused. Now I want to find again the speed of the first races, I’m excited for this second part of the season, especially for the extra-European ones, where I’ve always felt good. I will try to do my best to work good with the team to reach the goal of TOP8 at each race. I’ve trained a lot in this break and I’m excited for Silverstone: I’ve always done well in Moto3, even last year in Moto2 I was pretty fast. I don’t want to set goals or create expectations, I just want to get out on track, be fast and find a good feeling with my bike. Achieving a good result and collecting points will be essential for us to restart the championship with more confidence”.
