QJMOTOR GRESINI MOTO2: OFF TO AUSTRIA

After a weekend off, the riders of the Team Moto2 QJMOTOR Gresini Racing are ready to get back on track at the Spielberg circuit. Jeremy Alcoba is super motivated as in Silverstone he put together a good comeback that gave him a lot of self-confidence and an extra boost to achieve a good result in Austria too.

On the other hand, Filip Salač has a great desire to redeem himself, and after an up & down weekend in England, he is ready to find again himself in the RedBull Ring, where hard braking, which here is fundamental, is his strong point. Goal for the weekend: to return to the top5 in the fight for the World Championship, where the Czech rider is currently in sixth position.

FILIP SALAČ #12 (6th in the standings with 75 points)

“I can’t wait for the Austrian race, it’s a track I like a lot, very different from others: there’s a lot of hard braking which is what I like the most. We were struggling in Silverstone but we know what happened so we can fix it to be competitive again: let’s give our best as always and we’ll see what happens!”

JEREMY ALCOBA #52 (16th in the standings with 28 points)

“I arrive in Austria motivated: in the last race I felt quite good on my bike, I had a good feeling with the front tyre and in the next track you need to feel a lot the front. Our goal is to improve and keep working in this way. I will try to give my best, last year here I felt quite good and that give me even more confidence!”
