ROW FIVE FOR DIGGIA AT ASSEN

#DutchGP qualifying. Team Federal Oil Gresini did not shine today in the #DutchGP qualifying as Fabio di Giannantonio finished 15th and 26th, respectively.

Fabio Di Giannantonio is far from the positions he accustomed us to, and the last cancelled lap makes little difference – one position. Starting from the fifth row will be a challenge but may add some extra motivation to the Italian rider.

It was a negative day for Nicolò Bulega who will line up in a very sub-par 26th position on the #DutchGP grid. The #11 struggled to find the feeling with his Kalex machine and will need a big comeback tomorrow – which could be a lot ‘easier’ should it rain, as he already showed he can be really fast in wet conditions yesterday.

15th – FABIO DI GIANNANTONIO (1’37.230)

“Unfortunately this morning we were a lot quicker. I liked the set-up changes and we thought we would have done a lot better than this in qualifying. Things didn’t go our way, so we’ll have to work hard as temperatures are expected to be as high as today.”

26th – NICOLÒ BULEGA (1’37.281)

“With this lap-time we would have finished a lot higher up had we managed to get into Q2, so I’m not really worried about our race pace. Surely the grid position won’t make things easy, but we need to aim at the top-15. We made a set-up adjustment today that did not work the way we would have liked to in Q1, but we’re all very close.”
