READY FOR THE TRIPLE INDONESIA-AUSTRALIA-THAILAND

Three races in three weeks: the Team Moto2 QJMOTOR Gresini Racing is ready to face a rather intense triplet, for which expectations are high. We start from Indonesia, at the Mandalika circuit, where last year Jeremy Alcoba, rookie of the category, finished the second race of the season in the points-zone, while his 2023-teammate #12 was struggling to find the rhythm.

Then the team will fly off to Phillip Island, Australia, where both riders found themselves fighting for a good result in 2022, achieved by the Spanish rider who crossed the finish line 6th: one of his best results in Moto2. This year the number #52 is ready to fight and aim even higher.

The seventeenth round of the championship will take place in the Chang International Circuit in Thailand, where last year Filip Salač conquered his first Moto2 podium, a second place under the rain. Full of confidence, this year he will try to bring home one more cup and many points in the championship standings, where he is now in 7th position.

FILIP SALAČ #12 (7th in the championship standings with 108 points)

“I can’t wait for these three races in just three weeks. Indonesia will be a little hard for us, last year we were struggling a lot there so our target will be to adapt at our best to the track and make a much better result than last year. I’m really happy to go right off to Australia, where I’ve always fought for the podium and I can’t wait to do it again in two weeks. And then Thailand: last year I was in the podium in wet conditions and I want to be back there. I will enjoy every single race: the target will be top10/top5 and try to get as many points as we can for the championship”.

JEREMY ALCOBA #52 (17th in the championship standings with 33 points)

“Three races in a row where I have always been quite fast, I like the tracks a lot and last year I had a good feeling in all of them. Indonesia was one of my first races in Moto2 and I finished in the point-zone so I’m sure that with the experience gained this year we can aim for a little more. I also had some good races in Australia and Thailand so I’m excited! We will try to work at our best to be fast from the first session and finish the season with good results.”
