RODRIGO AND ALCOBA READY FOR THEIR HOME ROUND

No time to rest for the MotoGP circus as Team Kömmerling Gresini Moto3 heads to Montmeló ready to forget about the last outing in Emilia Romagna and fully focus on the ninth event of the season in Spain. A home coming for both standard bearers of the Faenza-based team Gabriel Rodrigo and Jeremy Alcoba who will have the chance to make amends on a track that they know and like.

With the second half of the season officially underway, Gabriel Rodrigo is seventh in the standings with 63 points, while Jeremy Alcoba is still the best rookie with 46.

GABRIEL RODRIGO #2

“We’re going to a circuit where I’ve already scored a podium. I always have fun around Montmeló and I can’t wait to be racing there. I know we have the potential to do well if not even better, the important thing is to stay calm enough to be charged up enough on track.”

JEREMY ALCOBA #52

“I’m getting to Barcelona without any particular expectation, even though it’s a circuit I know very well. I’m happy to go back home: this is always a special event and even though there’ll be no crowd I will feel the warmth from friends and family. Aside from that, this is one of my favourite circuits.”
