ROUND 4: THE TEAM MOTO2 QJMOTOR GRESINI IS READY TO BATTLE IN JEREZ

After two races on the other side of the world, the Team Moto2 QJMOTOR Gresini Racing is back in Europe, ready to battle for the 4th round of the championship in the sunshine of Andalusia. We’re in Jerez de la Frontera, in southern Spain, in the circuit that hosted its first Grand Prix back in 1987 and has remained on the MotoGP calendar ever since.

Filip Salač aims high: he is now in 4th position in the Moto2 World Championship standings, just 8 points from the TOP3. It will be fundamental for him to bring home a good result to confirm he is one of the protagonists of this season.

It is going to be a tough weekend: Jerez is the track where the winter test took place, meaning all the riders will be already fast and the level will be so high. On the other hand, Jeremy Alcoba has something more to give: in fact in America he missed the podium for just one position and this will give him a reason more to fight for it.

FILIP SALAČ #12 (4th in the standings with 33 points)

“I can’t wait for Jerez: it will be a difficult weekend as it is the track where all the riders have the most kilometers. It won’t be an easy race ad everybody will be very fast: the target is to be in the top10 and to score points for the championship: we will do our best!”.

JEREMY ALCOBA #52 (9th in the standings with 19 points)

“Not my favorite track but I am usually fast here. I’m still a little bit angry  for missing the podium for so little in America, but this gives even more motivation to push. In addition, this is like a home race  so I want to give my best and to achieve a good result: I think we can do it, as in the test we were fast even if we weren’t at our 100%. Now I have a good feeling with the bike so I think we can do great!”
