SALAČ PROVISIONALLY IN Q2 AT SACHSENRING

Free Practice – #GermanGP The first day of free practice has been a positive one, with Filip Salač clocking his personal best lap-time in FP1 and currently in the group of riders to be seeded directly to Q2. Alessandro Zaccone managed to improve by 0.6 secs in the afternoon session after getting to grips with the German tracj, where he had never ridder before.

Salač was fourth quickest in the morning session and had a great feeling straight away with his bike. The rider #12 did not manage to improve in FP2, but he still showed a consistent pace which bodes well for Sunday’s race.

Zaccone spent the majority of the first session trying to find the best lines and references around the track. Only in the afternoon he was able to start working on the set-up and now hopes to make a further step forward in order to get into the top 14 tomorrow morning in FP3.

13th – FILIP SALAČ #12 (1’24.782)

“It’s been a positive day for us, although I had more of a difficult time in FP2 and was unable to improve my best time. I was still able, however, to put together a good pace on the longer run. The team is doing their best to give me the perfect bike and so far im happy.”

28th – ALESSANDRO ZACCONE #61 (1’26.108)

“I tried to learn the track and the best lines in the first session: it’s never easy to race on a new track, as some time is needed to adapt. I didn’t manage to find the perfect feeling in FP2 but we’ll try again tomorrow!”
