GARCIA SECOND IN Q1, PAWELEC MAKES FURTHER PROGRESS

SERGIO GARCIA #3

“Leaving Q2 aside, today was a positive day overall. I improved a lot with my lines, and that helped me make a significant step forward with my lap times. This morning I focused on working on my own, trying to find my rhythm and build up the pace. We are still missing something, but we showed good speed in Q1, where we set the second-fastest time. In Q2 I tried to push a little more to find a few extra tenths, but unfortunately I crashed. Despite that, I’m happy because I’ve improved a lot as a rider, and tomorrow we’ll start from a good position to aim for a strong race.”

 MILAN PAWELEC #40

“Today we took another step forward. I’m happy that we are continuing to improve our lap times lap by lap, and my confidence with the bike has grown a lot as well. For tomorrow’s race, I’ll try to stay with the group ahead of me and maintain their pace throughout the race. It won’t be easy, but we are ready and motivated!”
