GERMAN GP: GARCIA AND PAWELEC FINISH 21ST AND 23RD RESPECTIVELY

SERGIO GARCIA #3

“It was a really challenging race. I struggled to brake as hard as I needed to and couldn’t ride the way I wanted. It’s a shame because we were competitive yesterday and, starting from the middle of the grid, a points finish was definitely within reach. Unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned. Now the focus is on resetting, making the most of these three weeks off to train hard, and coming back fully prepared for the second half of the season.”

 MILAN PAWELEC #40

“It was an extremely tough race today. After around seven laps I started to feel pain in my back, and it got worse with every lap. At one point I wasn’t even sure I’d be able to make it to the finish. I kept pushing and managed to bring the bike home, but I simply couldn’t ride at my full potential. Finishing last with such a big gap is obviously disappointing, and I know there’s still a lot of work to do, both physically and in terms of building experience. Even so, I’m really happy to have completed another Moto2 World Championship race and to be part of such a strong team, where I’m learning something new every weekend.”
