NAVARRO BACK IN THE POINTS AT #DUTCHGP

It was admittedly not the best race for Jorge Navarro, who still managed to achieve the most important goal for the weekend – crossing the finish line – which was last seen by the Federal Oil Team Gresini Moto2back in the Texas GP.

Starting from eighth place on the grid, Navarro suffered due to wind and lack of feeling with the front-end of the bike as he dropped all the way down to 19thplace at some point. A good pace and a smart race race craft, however, allowed the Spanish rider to finish thirteenth and get a few world championship points.

In two weeks at Sachsenring, Jorge Navarro will try to build on this result to find the type of results expected from him.

13th– JORGE NAVARRO #9

“It’s clear that it’s not what we want, but in order to get to the top we have to start from the bottom. Today I could not feel the front tyre: it was moving a lot due to the wind and it vibrated under braking a bit too much. I decided not to take any risk, especially when I saw some riders crashing ahead of me. It was more than necessary to cross the finish line today, it was way too long since we last did it. We showed we were fast at least on the single lap, so now we need a full positive weekend to put the smile back on our faces.”
