POLE POSITION! ALONSO LOPEZ IS THE FASTEST IN ARAGON QUALIFYING
ALONSO LOPEZ #21
“I’m absolutely delighted! Honestly, I wasn’t expecting this result. I was struggling a little on a single fast lap because we focused our work on race pace, so this pole position feels even better! I’m confident for tomorrow, but it’s going to be tough. It will be crucial to manage the rear tyre well: we’ll be starting from pole position, and I’ll do everything I can to claim my first podium tomorrow in Gresini colours.”
SERGIO GARCIA #3
“Today, I was expecting a difficult day. However, the feeling on the bike wasn’t bad and I was confident I could make it into Q2, but unfortunately that wasn’t the case. Tomorrow, we’ll therefore start from twenty-fifth position, so another comeback race awaits us. Now we’ll focus on tomorrow: the goal will be to get a good start, find our race pace and get as close as possible to the points.”
