RODRIGO OUT AS ROSSI STRUGGLES IN BRNO

A challenging Saturday at Brno draws to a close forTeam Kömmerling Gresini Moto3 with Gabriel Rodrigo unavailable after fracturing his right collarbone and pelvis in FP2 yesterday.

The Argentine rider is now resting after the private flight organised yesterday to Barcelona as he is under observation at the Quiron Dexeus clinic – where he will stay at least until Monday. The pelvic fracture still has a hematoma which needs to be reabsorbed before surgery can take place.

The rain fallen during FP3 did not help Riccardo Rossi, who is still trying to get to grips with the Czech track – which is new to him. The Italian rider could not finish higher than 28th and tomorrow he will start the #CzechGP from the tenth row (with the start scheduled at 11:00 GMT+2).

28th – RICCARDO ROSSI #54

“The track with the rain has a lot of grip and I liked it a lot. This morning we had some issues with gearing so we though about changing something for qualifying, but with such unstable weather we could not find a definitive solution. We kept the same gearbox and I managed to push only during the final lap, when the track was fully wet. It wasn’t enough and we’ll start from far back and we’ll see how the weather will be tomorrow.”
