SAN MARINO GP: LOPEZ FINISHES EIGHTH
ALONSO LOPEZ #21
“I’m not fully satisfied with today’s race because I’m sure we could have achieved more. The feeling with the bike was good, but I wasn’t able to make the most of it and exploit its full potential. Now we need to understand how to approach these circumstances so that we can take advantage of them in the upcoming rounds. We’ll try again next weekend in Austria.”
SERGIO GARCIA #3
“I expected a little more from this race. I gave everything I had on the bike and, halfway through the race, we were fighting for a few points. Then I started struggling with front-end grip, I was sliding, ran wide a few times and, in the end, I also had to serve a Long Lap penalty. So we leave with an eighteenth-place finish, but the feeling wasn’t bad. We’re heading to Austria with positive sensations and confident that we can have a strong weekend.”
