TWO ‘HOME ROUNDS’ FOR INDONESIAN RACING GRESINI MOTO3 AT ARAGON AND MISANO

Aragon and Misano will host the next two events of the Moto3 World Championship and team Indonesian Racing Gresini Moto3 arrives to these challenges with extra motivations and leave behind the disappointing results of recent races.

Both tracks suit the characteristics of Jeremy Alcoba and Gabriel Rodrigo’s Honda machines, with the two riders also ready to make the most of both Spanish and Italian crowds.

Alcoba has narrowly missed on a podium finish at both tracks last yeaer – he was sixth and only two tenths away from the podium in Spain and was fourth after battling for honours at the line in Italy – while Rodrigo has a total three first-row starts at these two venues.

JEREMY ALCOBA #52

(10th in the championship standings – 60 points)

“Aragon will be my home race and despite the last three outings have been far from positive, we get there with the aim of winning. Maybe we will need a bit more luck as lately we have been lacking some, but I love the track and I know I can do well there. Misano will be a home race in any case because the team headquarters are nearby. This is another circuit I like so we must do well there, too.”

GABRIEL RODRIGO #2

(11th in the championship standings – 60 points)

“I like these two back-to-back events, as we have been quick at these tracks. Unfortunately we come from a very challenging race, so we want to make amends and turn things around. We know we have a strong team and a quick bike, but we need to put all the pieces of the puzzle together in order to enjoy two positive weekends.
