FERMIN IN THE POINTS IN THE MUGELLO SPRINT
FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54
“Overall, it was a positive day: we were fast in qualifying and had a good pace in the race. It’s a shame about the start, where we lost a lot of positions. Actually, my launch off the line was good, but I got tangled up with Di Giannantonio and lost the slipstream a bit. We probably dropped back to 11th place and then worked our way forward. Sixth place is a good result, and I know we can do much better tomorrow over the full race distance.”
MICHELE PIRRO #51
“Today’s race was affected somewhat by the crash this morning and also by the fact that, after just a few laps, I didn’t feel comfortable on the bike. Even so, I found my rhythm and was putting together a solid sprint race. It’s a shame about the mistake on the penultimate lap when I was about to catch Toprak. Thanks as well to the team for all the extra work they put in!”
