ALEX MARQUEZ’S GERMAN CHARGE ENDS ON LAP 10
ALEX MARQUEZ #73
“I made a small mistake, but it was one that ultimately cost me the race and left me with zero points. I was probably riding with a little too much confidence, and unfortunately it ended in the worst possible way. Still, we have to keep smiling and stay positive. After my crash in Barcelona, I never imagined I’d be this competitive already at the Sachsenring, fighting with my brother at a track like this. We’ll keep working hard, even during the summer break, with the aim of being back to 100% physically by Silverstone, or at the latest Aragón. Those are two circuits I really enjoy, and we want to prove that we’re back where we belong, just as we showed here in Germany—hopefully with a bit more luck on our side.”
