“I have to say I was lucky with this morning’s crash. I didn’t make any mistakes, but the bike passed very close to me. This track is always spectacular, and I felt comfortable on the bike straight away. We’re fast, but the rain tomorrow will bring some challenges. I enjoy riding in the wet, but at Phillip Island, a mistake in the rain can be costly, and I know that all too well.”
