ALEX AND FERMIN: KEY POINTS FROM THE LOMBOK SPRINT

ALEX MARQUEZ

“It was a day when it was important not to make mistakes and, above all, to be patient. We had a decent qualifying session, and in the race it was crucial to get a good start and avoid making silly mistakes: this track punishes you, and it’s easy to lose a lot of time. Tomorrow, the idea is to race as we did today. It will be a very tough race physically, and the goal is to bring home some important points.”

FERMIN ALDEGUER #54

“We crashed too many times this weekend, but getting through Q1 allowed us to get some very useful mileage, and in the race we gave it our all. We’re not where we would like to be, but we’re improving throughout the weekend, and tomorrow will be even tougher than today. Physically, I’m struggling a little, but that was to be expected.”
