ALEX CRASHES BUT MAKES IT INTO Q2, FERMIN THREE TENTHS OFF THE TOP 10
ALEX MARQUEZ
“The important thing was to make it through to Q2, even though we’re not at the top in terms of race pace. I don’t even count the crash because it was really minor. Tomorrow, a good qualifying session will be crucial, but there’s no doubt we need to improve our consistency. The Aprilias are faster in some sections, but we have to focus on ourselves and try to get the best out of our package.”
FERMIN ALDEGUER
“Honestly, I was expecting a more positive feeling coming back to this track. We weren’t able to find the right balance, and it’s clear that the crashes didn’t help. Physically, I have no problems, but it’s clear that there’s still work to do to achieve our goal. The 15 minutes of Q1 could be helpful, and if we make it into Q2, the target is to stay within the top two rows.”
