Positive steps forward for Jorge Martin in Jerez test

The Team Del Conca Gresini Moto3 completed today a productive private testing session at Jerez de la Frontera circuit: with Fabio Di Giannantonio still recovering from the fracture of the right collarbone remedied last 9th of February at Valencia, the team was on track only with Jorge Martin. The 19-year-old Spanish rider, who yesterday put in no less than 62 laps, the best in 1’47”253, worked mainly on his Honda NSF250RW set-up, declaring himself satisfied with the progress made especially on corner exit.

Later, bad weather conditions didn’t allow Martin to take advantage of the second and final day of testing, today. The Team Del Conca Gresini Moto3 will be back on track for the official IRTA tests scheduled from 8th to 10th of March, again at Jerez, where Fabio Di Giannantonio is also expected to return in action.

JORGE MARTIN

“We could take advantage of just one day of testing, but we still managed to do a great job! I think we took a big step forward compared to the previous test in Valencia, because I got a better feeling especially during acceleration; in general I’m satisfied with the behavior of the chassis, I adapted well to the bike and now I can ride it easily. I think that we are well prepared heading to the official tests scheduled here in Jerez early next month!”.
