TEAM KÖMMERLING GRESINI READY FOR #AMERICASGP
The tour on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean continues for Team Kömmerling Gresini as the series moves to North America for the last event before the European season debut: the venue for the next Moto3 battle will be Austin’s Circuit of the Americas.
The MotoGP World Championship has already raced six times on what is one of the longest tracks on the calendar; Gresini Racing already have one win under their belt in 2018 – while the year before a double podium was claimed by the Faenza-based squad.
Gabri Rodrigowill arrive to Texas in the best fitness condition possible and charged up after racing near the sharp end of the field in Argentina. Riccardo Rossi, on the other hand, will face the third Grand Prix of his career after Losail and Termas – again on a track he is yet to familiarise with.
Moto3 proceedings will get underway this Friday at 9:00 local time (GMT -5), with the race scheduled to get underway on Sunday at 11:00.

“Austin is one of the most technical tracks on the calendar: it’s very long and maybe conceived more for four than two wheels. This is a very demanding track for us riders, although I must admit I really like it. Last year I was quite fast there and had a great pace. The team has already done well there in the past; we arrive at this Grand Prix in a positive mood after Argentina, so we hope to be quick straight out of the box.”

“Even though I’ve only watched footage of it, I can say that COTA looks like a great circuit but also not an easy one. Twenty corners are a lot, even though most of them are left-hand turns – which I like a lot more. We need and we must make a good step forward: we need some more experience and some improvement in terms of riding style, but we’re charged up. We must keep aiming at the top-15. “
