JEREZ AWAITS TEAM DEL CONCA GRESINI MOTO3 FOR EUROPEAN DEBUT
Team Del Conca Gresini is ready to attack the European leg of the Moto3 World Championship – which begins this weekend at Jerez de la Frontera – after the first three convincing events of the season in Qatar, Argentina and Texas. Always on the podium with two wins and currently leading both rider and team standings, for the team and its riders Jorge Martin and Fabio Di Giannantonio it is time to put some continuity result-wise on a track that is well-known due to the many tests performed during the off season.
Without a doubt, it will be Jorge Martin the rider to be looking at with the biggest attention: currently leading the title race with 55 points and two race wins in 2018, Martin wants to earn a good result on a track that has seen him ninth in the race due to a brake issue after starting the encounter from pole.
For Fabio Di Giannantonio it is time to step up: the race at the front in Austin, and moreover an all-around great performance throughout the weekend, give Fabio hope for another battle near the front for honours and even the top step in Spain.
Moto3 action will get underway on Friday 4th from 9am with the first free practice of the quarter-litre class of MotoGP.
