RIO HONDO AWAITS TEAM DEL CONCA GRESINI
Team Del Conca Gresini and their riders Jorge Martin and Fabio Di Giannantonio are on their way to Argentina’s Termas de Rio Hondo track, where this weekend they the second Grand Prix of the Moto2 season takes place.
After making a stellar debut with Gresini Racing in Qatar, Jorge Martin will return to the South American track for the third time in his career, one more than his team mate Di Giannantonio – who only has a wet race under his belt there.
Both riders will need to make the most of the track-time available to them in order to further improve their feeling with the Honda NSF250RW, while hoping that the weather will be on their side this weekend. The on-track action for the Argentine Grand Prix will get underway on Friday at 9:00 local time (GMT -3).

“The first race in Qatar has brought some fresh confidence to me: I’m really charged up because we did a nearly perfect job and we were able to be consistent, apart from a problem in the final part of the encounter. The goal for Argentina will be to stay at the front, try some new stuff and keep improving. The team is very motivated and if we keep working like we’re doing, we can have some fun out there.”

“I have to say I really like the Rio Hondo circuit. I had fun there last year, despite the weather. We really want to do well and build up on the good result of Qatar, which means battle for the top positions and score some good points. We need to keep the momentum going!”
