TEAM DEL CONCA GRESINI MOTO3 LOOKING FOR CONFIRMATION IN ARGENTINA
Termas de Rio Hondo is the stage for the upcoming, second Grand Prix of the 2018 MotoGP World Championship. Lead by Fausto Gresini, Team Del Conca Gresini Moto3 is heading to Argentina with great excitement after coming out on top of the opening round – and seeing both riders on great form in Qatar.
After the 25 points scored at Losail, Jorge Martin is now eager to get on track again at the Argentine circuit, where last year he enjoyed pole position and podium. After losing a few kilograms due to the hard training program of the last two weeks, the confidence of the Spanish rider is as high as ever, which makes him the rider in the spotlight for the quarter-litre class of MotoGP.
Despite never scoring a single point in the last two editions of the Argentine Grand Prix, Fabio Di Giannantonio really likes the track: his 5th place in qualifying last year was among his strongest results on a Saturday so far in his career.
With an all-new layer of asphalt to be tried out, the riders of Team Del Conca Gresini Moto3 will begin the #ArgentinaGP this Friday from 9am local time (GMT -3) with Free Practice 1.

“Last year I got a third place in Argentina, despite some front-grip issues. I have been training really hard and I’m on great form – I even lost some weight. I’m extremely motivated to do well: I know the asphalt is now and therefore we’ll have to get to grips quickly with it, but the goal will be to be consistently in the top positions in every session and score the best possible result.”

“I really love the Rio Hondo circuit, and after Qatar we are charged up and willing to return to the positions we should be in. I will be physically ready as I’m training a lot but also with the bike – because it was already perfect in Qatar.
