ALEX ON GOOD FORM AT MUGELLO, FERMIN TO GO THROUGH Q1

ALEX MARQUEZ #73

“It was a quite positive day. I took a steady approach this morning as I didn’t like the soft front-tyre and I took one too many risks. We worked on the set-up with the medium option and things improved quite a bit. The pace is surely good, the bike works well and to wrap up Friday among the leaders leaves me with a good feeling.”

FERMIN ALDEGUER #54

“Let’s start by saying that the arm is in perfect condition; maybe I suffered a little fitness wise as I had trained less this week – for obvious reasons. In any case we’re not in a bad place: it’s true that I didn’t want to overdo, but we took it easy as we had planned. The idea is to grow during the weekend both fitness and performance wise. Right now we’re aiming at Q2, then we’ll see what awaits us.”
