#BRITISHGP: LOWES PREPARES FOR HIS FAVOURITE GP
The most important event of the season draws near for Sam Lowes, who this week returns to his home track – Silverstone – for the 12thGrand Prix of the season. Following an Austrian Grand Prix that surely did not meet expectations, the Briton made the most of the post-race, one-day official test by completing an incredible number of laps (105) while trying to improve his feeling with the front-end of his Kalex machine.
With fresh confidence and desire to get back on track at the venue where he has claimed pole position twice already – in 2015 and 2016 – Sam Lowes and the team will begin their work at 10:55 local time on Friday (GMT +1). The Moto2 race will instead held after the MotoGP encounter at 14:30 on Sunday.

“I’m obviously charged up because we’re heading to my home track, where I’ve already been on pole position twice. The Austrian test – on a track which is among the most challenging ones for my riding style – has brought some good ideas especially with regards to the front-end of the bike. I will also count on the support of my home fans and I will give my best to give them – and the team – a great result.”
