NAVARRO LOOKING TO RETURN TO PREVIOUS FORM AT #GERMANGP
The German Grand Prix of the 2017 Moto2 World Championship will be contested this weekend at the Sachsenring racetrack in Germany, with Jorge Navarro aiming to turn the page on the difficult weekend at Assen and return to the type of form shown at Mugello and Montmeló.
The rider of the Team Federal Oil Gresini Moto2 never managed to find the right feeling with his Kalex Honda machine number 9 in the Netherland but, despite the little step back in terms of performance, he was nevertheless able to finish within the points on Sunday.
The 21-year-old Spaniard had some good races in Moto3 at the Sachsenring before and he is now ready to continue with his learning experience in the middleweight class of MotoGP.
JORGE NAVARRO #9
“Let’s be honest: the Sachsenring is not one of my favourite tracks, although I finished sixth and seventh in Moto3, the latter of which I achieved with an injured leg last year. It’s all relative though: we got to Assen with expectations that were simply too high – especially after the results of the previous two GP, while here we’ll keep both feet on the ground and trying to find a good direction from Friday.”
